About The Event
Session Synopsis
In the lead-up to the second edition of CDRI’s Global Infrastructure Resilience Report (GIR2025), this DRI Dialogue will introduce two key workstreams driving the report’s development: the Global Infrastructure Resilience Survey (GIRS) for professionals and the GIRS Pilot for Businesses.
As disasters and climate risks intensify, there is a critical need to understand how infrastructure systems across countries are positioned to withstand, recover from, and adapt to evolving hazards. GIR2025 aims to respond to this need by generating evidence and insights through structured global consultations and data collection efforts.
This webinar will spotlight the design, objectives, and early insights from the two survey initiatives:
- GIRS for Experts and Professionals, which captures the perspectives of infrastructure practitioners across sectors, regions, and institutional levels to assess capacities, challenges, and best practices for infrastructure resilience.
- GIRS Pilot for Businesses, which seeks to understand how companies experience and manage infrastructure-related disruptions and resilience-building investments.
